Heating

The heating is managed room-by-room by smart plugs.

You can turn on/off individual radiators by:

Pressing the button on the top or side of the smart plug at the wall socket.
Using the Web interface, which includes:
- A manual 'ON/OFF' switch - the radiators will stay on until 19:00 unless manually turned off,
- a 2 hr boost button (radiators turn on for 2hr), and
- a weekly scheduler for all timers.

We’ll aim to turn on the heating for you if we know you will be in the building and the weather is cold, but feel free to send an email request to office@empoweryou.uk prior to your visit.
Please do not switch off the radiators using their panel controls because the smart plugs won't be able to turn them back on.
Do not unplug the smart plugs, nor switch them off at the wall socket.
Do not move the radiators/smart plugs to other wall sockets; their position is determined by the office wiring and to balance the load on the circuit breakers.
